People constantly speak of possessing passion for a profession, especially when dealing with workings in the restaurant realm. And in true fashion of overused lingo, passion seems to have lost its luster. Don’t get me wrong, you need passion … it’s a fuel to get things started, but rather than continually advocate approximately how passionate one is regarding a job or profession … why not focus on connections? Connections to people, (all the people not just the “cool kids”) those behind the scenes and on stage that make the food and wine business run.
